For the next several months, construction work will take place on Oak River Drive in the open area to install new drainage structures to improve area drainage during storm events. The Contractor will be closing down the road to one lane during the first phase of the project using a temporary traffic light system. Once a portion of concrete pipe is installed, the road will be backfilled and repaved temporarily while the contractor moves to the other side to complete the pipe installation under the road. During the second phase, Oak River Drive will be open to two-way traffic using a temporary section of road. Work will also consist of drainage improvements in the open grass area.
